Clairlea Farm
This 275 acre farm in Donegal Township was Established in 1974 as a Hunt Barn and Training Facility, it moved into the Belgian business with the demise of the local Hunt. Quarter Horses and Sport Horses were added later. At one point we stood 5 Stallions, 2- Belgians, 2- Quarter Horses and 1-Thoroughbred. We have buried three of them at ages 23, 24 and 26. Today there is a Belgian Stallion and a Quarter Horse Stallion, each living in their respective fields with their girls. Our total herd approaches 50. There are also a few head of cattle in the mix along with the barn mascot, a pot bellied pig. Always something for sale!
